At the Altai Stadium in Ust-Kamenogorsk, Kazakhstan, on 15 May 2026, 787 craftswomen of the "Alaman Kurak" project led by Nurgul Abaykhan from across Kazakhstan simultaneously unfolded identical "Barqytbel" patchwork korpe (each 90 cm by 260 cm), forming a line of fabric 2,000 metres long, registered by GBR as a world ethno record.
