Mission

Every record is history. GBR documents record achievements, checks them and publishes them in a catalogue that anyone can read.

• Records and recognition. We collect and verify achievements from Asia and Africa and present them to a wide audience.
• Showing achievements. We tell the stories of the people and organisations behind the records.
• Social mission. We pay particular attention to inclusive and social records: the achievements of people with disabilities, women, young people, veterans and children.

GBR works through regional divisions. Astana is the administrative, strategic and analytical centre.

• Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia: Southeast Asia Division. A region of high technology and education.
• Hanoi, Vietnam: East Asia Division. A scientific and technological centre, with a focus on industrial achievements and innovation.
• Banjul, Gambia: West African Division. A centre for social and youth initiatives in Africa.
• Rabat, Morocco: North-West Africa Division. A platform for international partnership and humanitarian diplomacy.
