NEW WORLD RECORD INCLUDED IN GBR

The WONTANARA, the world's first double-sided self-unloading vessel, has been officially delivered in China and included in the GLOBAL BEST of RECORDS (GBR) - The World Book of Records for Asia and Africa.

Designed and built by CSSC Chengxi Shipyard (China State Shipbuilding Corporation - CSSC) for Rio Tinto, the vessel is the first of five ships for the Simandou mining project in Guinea.

Specifications: • 41,800 DWT • Length - 215 m • Beam - 42 m • Cargo capacity - 29,000 m3 • Unloading rate - 12,000 t/h
