GLOBAL NEWS

At the traditional Friday meeting of the GBR Board, a historic decision was officially adopted.

For the first time in world history, an international digital platform titled IWRR (INTERNATIONAL WORLD RECORD REGISTRY) will be established.

The mission of the platform is to create the world's first open and globally accessible registry of officially registered world records, providing humanity with a unified international information resource dedicated to outstanding achievements.

The official presentation of IWRR will take place during the International Official Presentation of the WORLD BOOK OF RECORDS FOR ASIA AND AFRICA – GBR (GLOBAL BEST OF RECORDS) on 27 January 2027 in Istanbul, Türkiye.

GBR — EVERY RECORD IS A HISTORY.
