A STEAM-POWERED SPEED BREAKTHROUGH

A STEAM-POWERED SPEED BREAKTHROUGH
62-year-old British engineer and rider Graham Sykes has stunned the motorsport world with a near-record performance on a steam-powered motorcycle.
Covering a quarter mile (402 meters) in just 5.503 seconds, the machine reached an average speed of 310.5 km/h, with peak bursts up to 337.8 km/h.
The most remarkable fact — the motorcycle runs on steam power, developed in a private workshop.
GBR (GLOBAL BEST of RECORDS) is reviewing this achievement as a potential world record candidate.
