A New Name in World Cinema — A New Record in History
VALIKHAN SMAGULOV is a rising star in the world of cinematography.
He single-handedly created a feature film, performing the roles of 21 specialists — including director, screenwriter, lighting engineer, designer, sound engineer, and 16 other professional functions, without having a formal education in cinematography.
This achievement surpasses that of legendary Hollywood actor Jackie Chan, who combined 15 professional competencies in his work.
Valikhan Smagulov has been officially included in
GBR (GLOBAL BEST of RECORDS) — EVERY RECORD IS A HISTORY
the World Book of Records across Asia and Africa, one of the leading global authorities in record registration.
The official award ceremony and presentation of the certificate and regalia will take place on April 25, 2026, in Astana, Kazakhstan.
